Love and best wishes to everyone from northern California.
As I crested Skyline Boulevard on my way to work I was struck with the most
beautiful view of South San Francisco, the bay and all it's surrounding
areas. It was so unbelievably beautiful I burst into tears. I pulled over to
the side of the road and couldn't stop crying for 15 minutes. Everytime I
looked back up at the sky it only made it worse.
How can this world be so cruel when life is so beautiful?
Coming from Israel and experiencing the terrorism there has really made this
such a personal experience for me. The night before last there was a
terrorist bombing at the train station in Nahariya. My grandmother lives in
Nahariya, my parents live in Shavei Tzion (the next town North). This is my
train. My stop. Taken to Tel Aviv, taken to Haifa. Taken to anywhere I need
to go.
I can hardly express how deeply sorry I am for all the people of the world.
If only for one day please take the time today to concern yourself with
others, wish them well, let them know they are loved. Imagine those people
on the plane the moment before it hit the Trade Tower. If it's blessings you
want to give, give them. If it it's prayers then pray for them. Whatever it
may be, let it be.
My heart goes out to everyone in New York and anyone with family or friends
there. Let it be known that myself, as well as people the world over are
grieving and mourning this great tragedy.
