While we're talking about The Metro, the band I am Spoonbender does a really great cover of the song on their last EP "Teletwin EP". They even re-wrote all the lyrics. It kicks ass. So does the rest of the EP. Buy it. See them live. Also, you mentioned the new Fantomas album, The Director's Cut. I'm loving it. Easier to get into than the previous album. The cover of the Cape Fear theme is great. Also the theme from The Omen. Too bad they are opening up for Tool on their overpriced sold-out tour. Maybe next year. Oh... and now watch how I bring this back, full circle, to Berlin. Mike Patton, is appearing on several tracks of the upcoming Dan "The Automator" Nakamura CD, Songs to Make Love to Your Old Lady To. One of these tracks he appears on will be a duet with the singer from Elysian Fields. The song they'll be singing? A cover of Berlin's "Sex". Have you heard this song? Maybe if you have, you realize just how fucking ridiculous this all is. Alright. The end. -Aaron ----- Original Message ----- From: atomly <atomly@atomly.com> Date: Tuesday, September 4, 2001 3:53 pm Subject: Re: [idm] top 10 squid salads
