I think I am the "some guy" in:
"Some guy reads a quote from the 90's, which hey, I am cool with
that...brings it to the forum and makes it seem like Mr. May made that
quote about ALL....."
I don't think I "made it seem" like anything, I simply thought it was an
interesting quote and thought some other people might like to read it,
that's the only reason I posted it.... =) I made sure to say it was from
1990, which is the only context I did give it in the original post.
But, I have to say, I think it was pretty spot on, if a little short
sighted---there does seem to be a lot more chafe now that technology is so
immediate--but also, I think the wheat is much, much more tasty than it was
in 1990. Not many electronic songs past or present come close to the soul
the May's work has, though.....and I guess that reason is why we all have
to take pause to consider his statement.....
