I spoke to a couple of people yesterday who backed up what you're saying. I
was pretty much shitfaced at that point so perhaps I failed to notice the
bad element within the crowd. That sort of thing really annoys me though,
many of these people would never bother their arses to go and see a lesser
known 'electronic' artist. They have a passing interest in Aphex Twin, they
may have seen the Windowlicker and Come to Daddy videos on MTV and they may
have read sidebars in Mixrag or Muzak harping on about how 'wacky' he is
(forget about the music folks, this bloke lives in bankvault......Large!!!).
I would imagine that on any other night many of these people would be off
dancing to drab house or techno-by-numbers, but came along on Friday night
for the novelty of seeing a supposed 'freakshow'. And when they do, they
disrespect the lesser known artists involved (Bogdan who?). It's a shame
that one of the few electronic artists around who can fill a large venue and
allow the promoter to turn over a decent profit for a change, should attract
such a crowd of fuckwits. Having said that I enjoyed the night immensely, I
had a laugh at the confused pillheads trying to figure out what the hell was
going on, and I thought Bogdan was a riot, even though he may nearly have
started one.

Fair enough, it was those same hysterical posts which led to that
shit-stirring little understatement you see above.
