what I've been able to piece together is this:
this friday or saturday of last week, he played at a gig with richard and some other phlexers. He apparently drank a bottle of vodka (?) and it was apparently spiced, so he got pretty fucked in the head and kicked his laptop around a bit, after which rich dragged him off stage.
then a message appeared on the rephlex front page with something like "bogdan will always be remembered" and a poster on the warp messageboard said he was dead. but then the rumor was retracted and the rephlex page bears no sign of a death.
make of that what you want...
