detroit making very melodic techno like plaid or early autechre mixed
with housier influences like moodyman, dan curtin, morgan geist sort
of thing. also a bit of boc and dr**l'n'bass goin on..., similar to
what the defocus (ex clear) label are doing.
out september 3rd:
hellfish - meat machine broadcast system cd (ziq 041). follow up to
the acclaimed "constant mutation" album (five out of five in muzik,
feature in nme etc). sticker on the front and presentation folder
with review quotes, advertising etc. should do well. not on vinyl
because all the main tracks are coming out on various 12"s on
hellfish's own label anyway (mostly after this release though).
