these are WONDERFUL (and an odd duck aside):
i fear this is as close as i'll ever come to having
any creative contact with bjork, but i inadvertantly
gave them the odd duck name for these mixes... you
can see the story in the new urb (my 15 minutes cannot
go in unheralded anonymity!)... i sent drew daniel
an email about having believed i'd found a new bjork/
matmos track, only to have d/l'd it and listened to
it and discovered that it was not matmos & bjork, but
some weird disco house song called "disco balls" with
the refrain "i've got disco balls / you've got disco
balls / everybody's got disco balls!" or some such
thing (not a german song as bjork said in the intvw)..
anyway i sent an email to him saying that i didn't
think this could be it and he replied saying that i'd
be surprised to hear how different the stuff they've
done really is, so i directed them to the file, told
them that if it was her it was an odd duck, and a few
days later, much to my disbelief i found something
entitled bjork-crave (odd duck mix) on napster...
so yeah. there you have it.
