Well, to make this a mail a bit less focused I will start with an IDM list
staple statement:
"Coo, don't you think theres a lot of IDM on adverts and the telly in
general and whatnot."
"Oh yes, I agree wholehertedly. It's obviously indicative of
blah-blah-bollocks-bollocks-bollocks"
Etc
Sixteen mails later...
I ask the question that I want actually answered:
"I say chaps, does anyone know the origin of that jolly fine tune thats
showing on channel four just at the moment?
Its advertising a show called 'This week only' and has one of those
interesting blighters from adam and joe on it, in blue-ish tones and with
his head inflated to an enormous size"
And then I wait...

PS anyone who can should go to see the "World Animation" event at the
edinburgh film festival, they're showing the bogdan video wth the robot and
a lot of other very cool animated shorts. Aces.
