Ogg Vorbis hasn't belly flopped yet. They just came out with a new build (RC2) a few days ago actually. It's looking better and better all the time. Technically it's a very good sound format (compared to MP3), plus it's free to use. However, as we all know, it takes more than just brilliance to make it in this world. If it isn't taken up by manufacturers and software developers then it will die a slow death. I'm confident that that won't be the case though. There are no licensing fees for including the codec in a product, so this makes it quite attractive. There was a good new thread discussing Vorbis on Slashdot the other day.
