Alright, U guys seen this.....anybody, anybody, for heavens sake somebody please say you've heard this........(shaking and trembling outta sheer xctasy.....)... ----- Original Message ----- From: Lance @ Inaudible Sent: Saturday, August 11, 2001 12:03 PM To: idm - moderated Subject: [idm-m] New Stasis-related release... Spotted this in a recent recordshop mailout: REMOTE / STASIS : split - Smallfish - 7" Blimey Stasis is good. When thinking of those under-rated, overlooked and misunderstood heroes of British techno and electronica, Stasis, Insync and Neuropolitique always come to mind....and for good reason. Smallfish kick-off the first in their split 7" series with this compelling release. Recorded 'bleedin' ages ago', clapped out is a true Stasis classic. All deep, dubby, minimal and crunchy, the fact that it sounds completely contemporary is a mark of the man's genius. Remote, on the flip, holds its own with an electronic gem of a tune. Bleeps and off-jointed breaks glide with much confidence and depth to produce an original and engrossing track. Limited to 500 copies and....seriously good. Any comments/reviews on this one? I know and love Stasis but who is Remote? Anybody know who else is planned for release on the Smallfish 7" series? -- -->-Lance---- PO Box 450715 Westlake, OH 44145 United States To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: idm-m-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com Your use of Yahoo!
