while i do enjoy this album, the vocals actually irk me, to the point of
making me cringe and feel sorry for safety scissors when he sings. they
almost ruin the record for me and make me want to turn it off when they
start. the lyrics are often "the rhyme is going to be so obvious that i
can guess what he's going to say a measure before he does," and i just
HATE that. i got over that when i got over "i'm so poetic" jewel. i'm
in no way anti-vocal, i'm just anti-vocal-for-the-sake-of-having-vocals.
still a good record, though...
