Precisely! I shouldn't post so much pedantic crap; I
should wait to see if someone else manages to say it
as concisely as you just did.
I would only add to that that, for me, what's missing
is the amount of time I used to spend with any given
album.
There are still things out there like Proem, Chris
Clark, BoC, that I really really love, but I don't
give enough time to.
What's hard, but I'm working on for myself, is
recognizing the stuff that just doesn't float my
personal boat as much, and not worrying much about
being familiar with it. That's why I'm selling off a
bunch of stuff lately - it's just stuff that, although
it's nice, it just doesn't fit me that well.
I also don't need every single EP or single by artists
I like. (especially when I can gather my fave B-sides
& compilation tracks together and make a new 'album'
on CDr... hehehe :)
