hey all there's plenty of music making folk on here, so i hope someone can help me out with this. I'm looking for a MIDI controller keyboard that will fit on a rack tray (19" wide). could just be two octaves, but i don't want a cheesy PC-only, powered by the computer kind of board. i think the launch pad from e-mu would be good, but they don't make that anymore. i didn't like the one octave keypads, but the sliders are nice. e-mu/ensoniq have those XL-7 things, but they're way too expensive. i don't need the synth, just the controller. fatar doesn't make one short enough. it's driving me crazy trying to find one. any thoughts? thanks, andrew -- Andrew Waggoner publisher/senior editor kineticmagazine.com 8581 Santa Monica Blvd. #461 Los Angeles, CA 90069 p: 310.927.4906 f: 310.289.5953 e: awaggoner@kineticmagazine.com w: http://www.kineticmagazine.com "friends don't send friends HTML emails." http://www.pulsecode.com/resume/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
