I've heard of this before, Popular Science or Scientific American or Discover - one of those - mentioned it briefly. Or maybe it was Wired... Anyways, since it still needs an operator/music chooser/whatever, it doesn't really do anything worthwhile... Maybe alter the way one might perform. Maybe a new skill to learn? I don't know, but it just seems fruitless to me, except for perhaps a certain manual dexterity being achieved as far as robotics goes, but that's not very exciting. A truly functional DJ A.I.
