The US music industry is pretty conservative IMHO. So that stuff is much
more underground in the US. There are some events posted on here, but I
notice that the big ones are usually a bit tied to avant-rock and that sort
of thing. I suggest getting together with your IDM friends and bothering the
staff at large record stores on a regular basis.
