that i really liked (like how i namedrop him here, eh? lol)... but i haven't been able to find em cause i forget the dam model #... I use HD270s, grey closed earcup with yellow trim. I tried several different models (Sennheisers are made in Ireland, so they're easy to find in the shops here) and these are the truest ones to my ears. They go right down to 16Hz, rolling off from about 25Hz. So you do need to allow for the fantastic bass response and listen to stuff on regular speakers as well where the subs mightn't translate well. But anyway I'm happy to recommend them, they're very comfortable and don't give me ear fatigue. I do all my monitoring on them (at sensible volumes!).
