i can't understand the low uptake on hotline..
the best hotline servers (private especially, but also some public) have
d/l:u/l ratios of at least 10:1 and some as low as 4:1 . . (the homie server
has been around this ratio at times.. if this means anything. . )
additionally, the best servers attract people with slow connections and no
hope of downloading simply because they are such good resources for finding
out about new/old/interesting stuff. .
now *that's* what a music community is all about. .
