this record is quite nice a lot of the time and
sometimes it fails to move me.
It's supercomplex jittery drum'n'bass with a hard
edge, but not as noisey or hardcore-gabber sounding as
other vsnares records.
some great melodies.... especially the last third of
"poor kakarookee"
some of the tie-ins to the title are a bit cheesy i
think, the meowing in one track and the "i am the cat"
song kinda blow. And I love cats, so i think the title
is great, but some of the 'meow meow' parts don't do
it for me.
recommended, but not enough to say that the $18 import
price is really worth it... try before you buy i
guess. A little disappointing since i've been
following VSnares for years, but i suspect he'll soon
drop a record that blows my mind completely.
