unlike the best of Fripp's side projects, King Crimson lacked style. it was
a consistently awkward attempt to sell prog-rock ideas to a
slightly-left-of-center audience. with bad singing.
i think Eno exploited Fripp's talent incredibly well, encouraging all
the good and leaving behind the smelly.
