I'd put it closer to Big Loada. Tom's gone back to using the familiar
breaks, but gone even more manic than before... I see where you're coming
from though, as it is kind of freeform and all over the place, similar to
MIRON. I read it an interview that with big loada he was trying to make real
twat shit music (love that expression :) but still retain an element of
funk. This leans even more towards that twat shit sound, often getting close
to just losing the plot entirely. In a good way though. I haven't heard the
entire album yet, only what I could grab off napster, but I'd say the only
bad thing about this release is that it doesn't have much in the nice melody
area, which is something I've always loved about squarepusher.
