I'd have to agree that the one liners are annoying, especially when attached
to a long post.
to stop this, I will bring up:
The Five-Deez, 12" I bought at the tortoise show, it features 2 mixes by
prefuse 73, which are very much in his stlye.
There are also some other mixes that are very good as well, its a very
Rapid Transit type of release. I highly recommend it.
There is also a little 12" comp by the metatronix label which is hott in
that way as well, this one features a mix by push button objects of
supersoul. I haven't seen it listed anywhere but its definitely worth
getting.
And lets not forget about the Kruton 12" with the autechre mix, while most
people will byuy this for the ae mix, I have to say that overall the entire
12" is great.
More relevantly, picked up the new d'arcangelo, nice to see a domestic
release of this guy, although it still costs $10. its also good to see andre
estermann stateside.
oh, one last thing, apparently theres a boards of canada remix on a new
planet mu 12", anyone hear this yet?

Subject: [idm] one line posts.... please make it stop
There has been a trend I've noticed recently for people (you know who you
are) to reply to messages with punchlines or to throw their two cents in
with posts containing only one line. In fact there are some people whose
sole contribution to the list consists of these one line posts. These are
often annoyingly attachted to a much larger quoting of an original message.
This is not how IDM works. IDM is a mailing list for discussion, this is not
a chat room nor your personal playground to try and amuse us. In the future
I would encourage those who think 2000 people need to read your single line
of text to think twice as a significant portion of the noise generated on
the list would be cutdown if only this type of posting was eliminated.
Thanks, gnz.
