Well if you're happy, I'm happy.
What's making me happy at the moment is the
insufficently-cool-for-this-list comp, Ars Antiqua Remixed on Atomcandy.
Eleven artists remixing music from the thirteenth century. It's a bit
uneven, with some of the artists not really engaging the original
material but simply laying dance music down around it.But when it clicks,
it really gets me going.
Of course, that might be nothing more than the fact that about a lifetime
ago I studied medieval music history.
In any case, it makes me happy. And that really should make you happy,
cool or not!
