Autechre were very good, but Russell Haswell rules. That recording he has of the journalist getting really excited about "Altern-8 are about to take the stage" is classic. Although he seemed to upset quite a few people I loved his harsh noise/death metal set, but then a mis-spent youth doing acid and listening to Whitehouse records will do that to you.
