So this gut comped me these two new releases a few
weeks ago on the condition that I review them for the
list , and well do to the fact I dont have a single
turntable to my name at the moment it took me until
last night to finally listen to them. So to start out
with the Datathief is fucking great, I'm not familiar
with their other work but I like this one a lot.I dont
have a lot of words to describe it or compare it to
which I think is a good thing. The D'arcangelo I like
about half the stuff on it, parts of it I'm not as
crazy about as some of thier other work, but
considering how varied thier music is some people
might really like it. .Also thats on first listen ,
good music often grows on you over time. heh.
So now that I'm a big ol record reviewer let me tell
you about what has been rocking my (cd)deck lately.
THE NEW MATMOS Is wicked good
same with Mouse On Mars-Ideology
and holy shit Yee-King-Super User is damn wunnerful
The snow robots Compilation
Harry Butter -fucking whacked in a good way
and the new Rephlex comp is good and also damn cheap
if you go to a fecord store thats not trying to rip
you off.
and thats all I have to say about that..
