i know for a fact that a nord lead 2 is used as i actually saw one of them
grinding some rather nice granular sounds out of it . i'm pretty sure they
use a nord modular as well. it did sound like the modular was doing alot of
percussion as it does have a very health compression module , coupled with
overdrive & wave-wrap ( an instant Ae sound on perc ! ) - the beats were
VERY hard and it sounded like the lead 2 was being processed by a laptop -
real time efx ? it did sound "live" though & i couldn't reckognize any
tracks ....
