Yeah I went to see vibert spin in San Fran last night,
it was wicked cool, he opened his set with a few
tracks off of musipal, and one of the bj cole tracks,
then went on this whole 80's cheesball kick for about
half an hour or so, then let loose with some of the
best idm sets i've heard anyone spin-fucking amazing
cool music and totally fun to dance to. I think a lot
of the beery/ trip hop crowd wasnt into it or got
confused by the utter lack of clubby beats that they
couldnt figure out how to dance to tired around 1 am,
so by the end of the night the crowd was sparse and I
got to thank the dude for a wicked set. Its kinda true
though what he says about bieng in this kind of
no-mans-land between club music and the wierd stuff,
but its perfect for me since I generally hate what
gets played at clubs and parties but I'm also way into
dancing and less of the "difficult listening "
abstract clickckity clack stuff. So if thats what your
into too its definitley worth the ten bucks or so.
