it really bemuses me how people can be happy with such
a substandard release as gravity (monolake). I suppose
its kind of good someone finds something to hold
interest in the none-too-deep non-descript trax. like
i have said before, and like ill say again if
necessary, all the ethereal brilliance of hongkong
(interstate aswell, but hongkong is the benchmark) has
not merely been sucked out, but was never close to
present in gravity. hongkong was a work of genius, by
turns gliding, shimmering, propulsive and
transcendental. by comparison gravity is a joke - it
sounds like the incidental music from civillization 2,
but not as good. it is bland and uninspired and unfit
to go under th name of monolake. if you find
satisfaction in such electronica pap, then enjoy, for
the rest of you save yourselves the dissapointment;
expand your mind instead and buy hongkong
