oh my god ----- Original Message ----- From: "Mikkel Eriksen" <Carthagtuek@softhome.net> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Thursday, April 26, 2001 9:38 AM Subject: [idm] TAN 109, On and Ventolin weirdness I read in the AFX Discography, under UI:Red that TAN-109 is the alias used for a project by Martin Tressider. Then I looked at my Ventolin Remixes CD, and on the inside of the cover, in the top-right corner, it says "©TAN109" (in the bottom right corner, it also says "©DV8 95"). Also, Ventolin EP, on the front cover, in the middle circle at the bottom, it says "TAN 109". The credits for both EPs list a Dan Parks for illustration/type. On On EP, a bit to the right of the bottom of the top circle, it says "Tan 109" too. Now, as if that wasnt confusing enough, on On Remixes, right side, middle, front cover, theres a little respect list that goes something like this: "Respect Ohm Voaphose Tan109 Ma F Samfx Gwc Iball Vic20 Peace Cya" Now, the On EP and On Remixes cover are also credited to Dan Parkes (with an extra e. I assume Parks is the correct spelling, as that was in handwriting, and this one is typed out... One tends to spell their own name correct when writing it in hand =). So , the question is... Does Dan Parks respect himself, or is there some namedropping going on? Or is this just a typical confusing-the-hell-outta- trainspotters scam? -Carth Mikkel Eriksen [CarthagTuek] http://idmlyrics.vectorx.org/ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
