I have to agree with you. I was looking for more melody and found it to be stimulating to my mind but it's not the same Autechre that I am used to. I am dissapointed as well. I mean, at least with songs like "Netlon Sentinel" from EP7 there was a nice melody towards the end of all the chaos that allowed you to appreciate that very element.
