Hope you're right. At least I liked the single "Dream On". Depeche Mode were the first band to introduce me into electronic music, some years ago (really some :) ). I also think that "Violator" was their peak, "SOAFD" and "Ultra" are interesting albuns but they don't have the thrill of the music they did after "Black Celebration" untill "Violator".
