The Ramones, more than any other band, successfully removed the plague of
pretention and bombast from rock music. We should all be eternally grateful
for that precedent. I'll always love them, and I'll never sell my 15-year
old leather jacket with their first album cover painted on the back.
Now I wanna sniff some glue.
