This was a relatively serious question, not to say the usual IDM snark
isn't appreciated...But, thanks for the info for those who sent it along.
For me The Wire, Igloo Mag, XLR8R, Grooves (RIP) and to a lesser extent URB
are/were kind of my go-to places to discover new stuff. I really like the
idea of a "curated" experience, something like finding trusted sources for
things. Labels used to be that for me. I'd frequently buy stuff on Warp,
Skam, Schematic, etc. just on sight (physical copies of course) based on
the quality of the label's previous output.
With the glut of stuff that's out there now, that's just not feasible.
