I have no idea what any of you are talking about.moosic schmooozic. I mean, the only reason I go to IDM shows is to lurk in the shadows and prey on cute, dorky techno boys. I mean, having fun at a show I pay my money for is like...the lowest priority when I go out.;) ;) If I want to see people sit behind a laptop, pushing buttons and have music come out of them;I'd stay at work and have my co-worker download a set from a many internet broadcasting sites and move the mouse around and look intense. I've been to laptop affairs where every one just stands around in swanky clothes that look like they are in food comas: its enough to make you want to yell 'fire' to see if any one is -really- paying attention to the music or swankiness. Big, HUGE props to CEX & Gold Chains & Blectum from Blechdom for supplying one of THE best live shows I've seen in Detroit. dp (who cant believe she gave in to responding) -----Original Message----- From: swamay [mailto:swamay@home.com] Sent: Monday, April 09, 2001 3:48 PM To: ff g; idm@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: [idm] What do you expect from IDM musicians on stage? bobbing your head to the music makes sense, but jumping around and making a spectacle of yourself seems silly to me. I do like the visual additions to shows. It helps the music tell a story. ~swamay~ www.mp3.com/swamay <<i dont think bobbing your head is necessarily showing off....i just get into it cause im playing it loud as fuck and it sounds dope...giving off some energy...no big deal...>> ----- Original Message ----- From: "ff g" <glassmuseum@yahoo.com> To: <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Monday, April 09, 2001 12:20 PM Subject: Re: [idm] What do you expect from IDM musicians on stage?
