I'm not sure about that.I know when I pout my rm1-x
direct into a mixer and then to a PA the signal is
weak and lacks depth. But this roland dj-70 sampler I
had sounded fine; I always run my sounds through some
compression and loudness boosting before they go into
a final mix. Also things sound totally different in
headphones or monitors than on a pa and since I dont
have a home pa setup... So I think live Pa stuff lends
itself more to experimentation thanplaying songs.
Thats probably why Autechre et al are so great live...
