As stated in previous posts: Crunch is Dave Tipper and Mike Wallis. Tipper has been making fantastic future breakbeat for several years now and has always pushed the experimental sound as a producer and DJ (see his past Groovetech and Radio One playlists). He has even delved into the IDM-side of things on his own breakbeat productions...he has remixed his own tunes under different aliases (ie: his "Supersport" 10" and on Higherground/Fuel Records). If you want to hear for yourself, check out Tipper's LP on Higherground called "The Critical Path". Its about a 50/50 mix of breaks and beaty-IDM. Listen to the track "Seldom Vile", you'll know right away for yourself who Crunch really is.... www.tipper.co.uk I know nothing about Mike Wallis - anyone?
