just flipping through the cd's at the local library and i found the
"collectiv four" rarities compilation by chris & cosey / cti.
this stuff has aged very well. i really like some of the early 80's output
from this group. while they did do some irritating and boring stuff at
times, they pushed a lot of boundaries. certainly IDM for the time.
"trance" and "heartbeat" still get frequent play at my house.
apparently now they record a lot of ambient stuff.
anyone heard any of their recent stuff? any good?
the most recent thing of theirs that i ever heard was "trust",
which was iffy.
i think i oughta go back and check out their mp3.com page again.
really enjoying "collectiv four" - check it out if you get a chance.
