hey all.
usually i'm silent and enjoying the debates but i thought i'd note that a
band i participate in called parlour from louisville, ky will be opening for
mogwai at the metro in chicago on saturday the 24th. i believe there was
also another opener added but i haven't heard who...
i guess of interest would be that parlour is basically the brainchild of one
tim furnish, formerly of cerebellum, crain, the for carnation, and aerial m.
parlour has been alive since 94 but has gelled since summer of 99. not to
mention the fact that tim is focused and more determined than ever...
we have sound samples and a short bio written by mike french (formerly of
crappy nightmareville and currently in magnetic bananimals) available on the
website...check us out if you're into anything in the experimental, rock, or
electronic formats. i believe tim came up with rocktronic for our sound
hehe...
anyway, i've heard mogwai are great live and look forward to sharing the
stage with them...
