Last year some members from 313 gathered at Fishbones one night and Blue
Nile the next for dinner. It gave people a chance to meet face to face and
chat. We had some locals that acted as a "bass contact" of sorts so out of
towners could call them for local help and see what was going on for meet
ups.
A lot of people on IDM overlap with those on 313, Analogue Heaven etc. it
might be wise to organize (I'm not volunteering myself here) something in
the vein that 313 did last year with an overlap of some of the lists.
There's going to be a lot more people this year, and last year it was
something that kind of came together at last minute.
If we could get a head count-of people from JUST IDM (if you are on 313 too
maybe include that info) who are planning on coming in that weekend (no
maybes-just definite) and interested in a gathering of some sort and what
night would be best (like perhaps Thursday or Friday night before the hoopla
begins).
just some suggestions.
