The one time I saw Pita live I remember thinking it sounded like a laptop
version of Merzbow. Just a barrage of digital noise. Actually, imo I don't
find comparing Pita to Merzbow that off the mark. Merzbow did appear on a
record on Mego after all.
I guess comparing most of Fennesz's work to Merzbow isn't too appropriate,
although he doesn't shy away from noise either at times.
