I don't think you can call Arrovane a boards of canada clone or imitation.
Their both into IDM okay, but I think arrovane sounds real different. On
tides Arrovane covers a wide variety of sounds
On the A side 1 Theme sounds a bit like Markant/Mutta 2 is a bit loungy,
maybe that is a bit in the BOC style. 3 Tides has a BOC but also a
Toytronic sound 4 Tomorow morning, sounds lik BOC (okay there is a bit of a
similair touch to there is album a the BOC stuff) 5 seaside, Is more a bit
ambient like rothko and KraaK.
Side B : 6 a secret, is a bit more the Markant sound with some faint sniff
of BOC(the arangements) 7.the storm, sound a lot like Massive Atack
(teardrops, without the vocals) 8: deaville, sounds lika arrovane =0) and
the last track 9 epilogue, sound a bit more like Markant/Mutta again
The rest of the Arrovane tracks i have/know sound like down tempo Autechtre
like IDM
