the name has something to do w/ films etc..:
This enigmatic electronica duo Mike Sandison (b. 14 July 1971, Scotland) and
Marcus Eoin (b. 27 May 1973, Scotland) reportedly derive their collaborative
moniker from the, National Film Board of Canada whose nature/socio-political
documentaries they (supposedly) watched as infants, when both sets of parents
relocated to Alberta, Canada to work. These grainy films influence the mood and
ambience of their early singles 'Hi-Scores' and 'Aquarius' (on the Skam label),
and their albums Twoism (of which only 100 copies were pressed) and Music Has
The Right To Children.
