I am the notorious dASKAS! (yeah right...). I joined the IDM mailing
list 2 months ago and found how ignorant i was about many IDM artists.
I like AFX (who doesn't?),BoC,Plaid,Bochum Welt,Cylob,Aspen... Well i
think most things from WARP and REPHLEX recordings are awesome.
Living in Patra (a small city in the north of Peloponnesos in Greece)
i found extremely difficult to find IDM releases and places to go to.
Hopefully people in IDM IRC channels help me out a lot. i have ordered
some cd's too once (Black Dog Productions - Bytes and LFO -
Frequencies) but i borrowed a friend's credit card (I still haven't
got a regular income to get my own)
As far as i know even in Athens a city of 4 million people there are
few people listening to IDM (only bloody house and uplifting trance of
the worst kind). Could any Greek recommend me some clubs and music
stores in Athens?
I have a good mp3 list collection (thanks you IRC people!). Please
e-mail if you are interested in trading some cdrs. I will send you my
list.
