it's a fetish thing. It's vinyl, it's cool. It makes it more exclusive. vinyl has more personality, there's an etching on the run out, and there's the chance that if you don't treat it carefully enough it can easily be ruined. I can go on.. Of course now that my vinyl collection has increased 5 fold I dread moving...
