Hey there, another person proclaiming how amazing
and wonderful dedbeat was. If anyone else was there, I
was the guy in the blue/red Groover t-shirt, dancing
like a lunatic to Vibert's superb 4-6 set. The
swordsmen were wicked, although I was pretty spaced
early on, and Depth Charge played an amazing Knight
Rider electro tune on the Friday.
I saw Aphex at Dedbeat. I saw him arrive in a funky
state. His late set from 4 am was about as chaotic as
it gets, so I didn't stay too long. Next day he played
in the games room(pool hall), which was 10x better.
Much more chilled electro, but I couldn't actually see
him as the place was so rammed.
Oh, and the security guard who MC'd over Vibert, was
okay to a point, then his ego got in the way and he
became annoying. It must be said though, the security
were superb. No problems with drugs=no violence, the
rest of society should take a hint. To all the
casualties who were dead around the dancefloor, you
missed out!!!!
