Hola Putting out an open call for promoters of experimental music in London, anyone who wants to set up gig in their garage / gallery / bathroom or add to an existing bill. I am looking to set up a gig for A-Muzik, Gagarin, Diskono, Ski-pp, Stora etc ( and *rumoured* to be chased by Domino, Rephlex etc.).. recording artist Felix Kubin in London on weekend of 1st April. Felix is playing at Lovebytes festival in Sheffield on 25th March, 13th Note Club in Glasgow on 28th March (with Barbara Morgenstern) and VRC in Dundee on 29th March. So best date would be 30th March, 1st or 2nd April. Felix Kubin : a one-man show in a genre he himself terms 'nasty pop'. His shows with synthesiser, organ and sometimes plastic skull are events in which Kubin is simultaneously artist and master of ceremonies of a kitsch musical universe, somewhere in-between The Residents and Jimi Tenor with «Hello» (Lionel Richie) in the middle. For all the biographical needed check these 2 web pages http://www.felixkubin.de http://www.onoksid.freeserve.co.uk/kub.html Any leads would be appreciated. Please refute the allegation that London is the most conservative musical city in the world.
