"Duck Stab" is a great record, although I would say "Eskimo" weighs in as my
top Residents record followed closely by "Not Available", "Fingerprince",
and "Third Reich & Roll". I spent a lot of time in the 80's under the
influence of errmm....things, listening to the Residents. I traumatized one
of my friends by making him listen to Eskimo followed by the first Kid Of
Widney High record while he was messed on acid. He's never forgiven me.
There is a video on the new Residents DVD for "Gingerbread Man" which I'd
never seen before and it just did my head in. Me and my girlfriend just
looked at each other when it ended and were like "wow, that's one of the
most depressing things I've ever seen".
