LosAngeles-based production company TV4 Entertainment, electronic music luminaryPaul Oakenfold and Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) today announced a partnershipto create and broadcast the inaugural ELECTRONIC MUSIC AWARDS & FOUNDATION show,to air Saturday, April 23 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
Filming on April14 at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles, the first-ever Electronic Music Awards & Foundation (EMAF) show willfeature electronic music’s leading artists, creatives, executives andvisionaries (to be announced). Among those being honored are the earlytrailblazers and legends of electronic music, as well as the top-trending actsof today. The show will feature red carpet coverage, awards presentations,interviews and live performances from electronic music’s biggest artists.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of an awards showthat finally both recognizes and celebrates, on a primetime platform, one ofthe biggest music genres in the world today,” said executive producer Oakenfold.
