Electric Company - "Exitos"! I can't believe this seems to have gone under
peoples radar for the most part.
I haven't much cared for other Electric Company releases, such as the
Onion release kid606 is always raving about. (or even "studio city" for
that matter) Something about the production and loopage just never sat
right with me.
However "Exitos" is top notch, and many miles removed from this: Very
strange DSP and distortion heavy stuff, not very beat or ambient or
concrete styled, really all over the map, but for some reason holds itself
together so well you'll find yourself putting it on the cd player, well,
often. Truzt me.
