very similar with my live set, except i don't use a computer

To hell with that. This pattern based mentality is the reason I've lost
interest in almost all dance music, intelligent or otherwise. It only makes
any sense to me anymore when I'm pilled off my face. (When, admittedly, it
makes a hell of a lot of sense) These days the only presequenced patterns I
use live (and increasingly while recording) are drum patterns. Everything
else I try to play live and I try to get as many heads doing this as
possible, and as many fiucking with the signals with effects as possible.
The results are very grateful dead gone wrong, but in a live capacity it can
work with a lot of practice, because people don't expect perfection.
