I saw Titonton Duvante spin on saturday in LA. WOW,
this guy is a really incredible dj!!! I haven't seen
anyone master the tables like that since Claude Young
was in town. Titonton started out his set with some
of the best "West London Broken Beat" I have ever
heard...incredible tunes. Then he kept mixing styles
ranging from techno, house and more broken beat tunes.
The whole time he was doing massive tricks and
scratching. Amazing set!!!!!!
Titonton was up in SF on friday recording a set for
Beta Lounge. So you might look to see if there is one
up.
Titonton has a new album due out in April on Residual.
He also commented that the CD will have more tunes.
If you haven't check out his previous Lp on Starbaby
that is worth hunting down!
Also worth noting I heard Titonton Duvante will be
spinning at the DEMF.
